Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational church, which is neither for nor against denominations. We simply do not want the name of our church to come between anyone who is sincerely seeking to find peace, hope and a new life that has seemed to escape their grasp throughout their life. We believe that a person totally surrendering their heart to Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer to true peace, hope and life. Our vision here in Sarasota is to introduce people to Christ, teach them through verse-by-verse teaching, serve one another in love, and then watch God work mightily in their lives. Our fundamental philosophy of daily living is that "we would know Jesus better at the end of the day than we did when we arose in the morning."

My prayer for you is that Jesus becomes larger than life to you as you sit at His feet to listen, learn, and then lead others into His presence. Only then will you find out the true meaning of life.
